This week, Helga challenged us to make something primarily with the colours Pink & Blue. Not a combo I use often, but Helga showed some lovely samples she made for a recent ARTchix Studio swap.
Here is what I came up with:
Lots of goodies from ARTchix Studio were used in this piece. Pink German Scrap, Pink Faux Post, Turquoise Shell Border and words from the Her Next Words Collage Sheet. The background is an old dictionary page that I sprayed with blue ink and then stamped with a retro snowflake stamp from Hero Arts.
Thanks to Helga for another fun challenge!

I like the way you have attached the little wing - too cute!

I love this cindy, thanks for annoucing it on the group! The blue background & trim contrasts so nicely with the pink faux post and I love the way you used spray dye!! The stamping is great : ) lenna

I have to admit that if I'd seen this somewhere other than your blog, I would have questioned that you made it. It is certainly not your standard style. It's good to work out of your comfort zone every so often. And to think, PINK German scrap :>)
