I always look forward to new product releases from ARTchix Studio - Helga always brings such fun new things to inspire us!
Here I'm trying out the new Large Watercolour Gothi Arch. Using my spray inks, I used the same masks that I made with my circle punches as on my class samples. I also used one of the gear eco shapes from ARTchix as masks. You can see it faintly on the inside of the arch.

You can really see the shape of the gear on the back - love this! It is how I wanted the inside one to look. Oh well, I am learing a lot about these inks as I go.
After spraying and bending the 'doors' a couple of times I found that they were coming apart from the middle section of the arch. I used this fun tape from Omiyage to reinforce the hinges. I actually like the look and might just do it on purpose next time.
Speaking of ARTchix shrines - their next swap is going to be using their mini shrines, and the theme is "birds". I was not planning on another swap right now, but how can I resist? Hope you will join in too!
