This weekend was our local ATC Trade. We had a great turn out. I made two series of cards:
Think Spring was definitely the most popular - probably because of our recent (unseasonal) cold snap:
Phrenology Head is a stamp from Lost Coast Designs. Butterfly from ARTchix Studio.
The next series was "All Mixed Up and Nowhere to Go". I took images from an ARTchix sheet called The Eyes Have It (which sadly appears to no longer be in print), cut three at a time in strips and then reassembled them.
After I got home, I was feeling quite inspired by all of the talented artists at the trade, and so decided to play around with a new design. I had painted these backgrounds on canvas with glass bead medium and then painted over it with green paint. I was then stuck with what to do with them as the dimensional nature of the glass bead medium made it difficult to stick any images on top. I cut out some abstract designs, and stuck some faces (also from ARTchix) underneath. The pieces that were cut out remained abstract. I like the pink/green combo. Here's a pic of all six:

I LURVE the faces beneath the textured paper.

You are getting SO creative with your work Cindy. I love the abstracts. Nice color scheme as well.

Great atc's! How clever of you to use the faces underneath those textures shapes! Very inspiring, Cindy! Hugs, Terri xoxo
