Your faux encaustic is wonderful. It looks like an encaustic painting to me. I tried using beeswax to make a faux encaustic, but the outcome was less than satisfactory.

The swirls look like something Tracy would create. In fact, they look like some of her hot glue pieces she made a few years ago. I can see why you like them. And of course, the colors you chose are so vibrant. I really LOVE the turquoise and red together. You definitely have a good sense of color, as well as great composition. This is a great second April review.

these are fabulous compositions Cindy! You have a great eye for color and the mark making is super. I have gotten the book Acrylic Painting For Encaustic Effects by Sandra Duran Wilson and I love it! Rereading through it before I begin playing...
