Oh Cindy, what a blast from the past (and not just a heat wave, either). I remember when those little umbrellas were hot, hot, hot and everyone was clamoring to add them to their mixed media art. Ironic that I have forgotten about them. I see you've also added some German scrap stars, too. This is a fabulous entry for the challenge, because it brought back lots of memories for me. I'll gladly join you for a glass of summertime fun. BTW, that postage stamp hits the spot, too. I really like this from a composition, color, and memory standpoint.

I had NO idea (yes, I'm really geography challenged) temps in your part of the world are that cool. It sounds like the ideal weather to me, except for the miserable heat wave, of course. I've said more than once, give me winter over summer any day. I can always put on more clothes, but can only take so many off and still be decent.

Love the mixed media here-those umbrellas are so fun- fabulously creative as always!

Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. I think I'm late telling you, though!
