Now that the flurry of activity that is ICAD is over, I wanted to catch up on my 365 Somethings project. You can read about the 365 Somethings project at Hanna’s blog I Hanna
Because the idea of this project is to finish the calendar year with 365 “Somethings” it does not have to be a daily project. So when I feel like working in my journal or making a postcard, sometimes I add a heart (my theme for 365 Somethings) and count it. I haven’t been counting outside of this blog, so they are not always in the order in which they were created, and that’s fine with me!
Starting where we left off - here are 224 and 225 in my rectangular journal. I liked the text because of the odd tense. It is from a book that I bought specifically to cut up but of course I had to read it first. It is an English translation, and I wonder if the tense is a function of the translation, or if it was the author’s intention.
226 and 227 are from my square kraft journal.
228 is a postcard made on recycled box board. I am obsessed with this new stencils as you can see - it is called Onion Skin and it is from The Crafter’s Workshop.
229 and 230 are again in my square journal.
231 is also in my square journal. The facing page (below) doesn’t have any hearts so I won’t count it, but it’s so pretty I wanted to share it! I could go back and add a heart but I don’t think it needs anything, and besides, I’m already ahead of the game.
Today is day 218 of the Julian calendar. That means I’m 13 days ahead, which gives me some breathing room with other commitments. Thanks so much for joining me today.
