This week, Helga challenged us to make at least one inchie (1" square collage) featuring the colour turquoise. I am a huge fan of turquoise right now too, so I knew I wanted to play in this one.
First I made three inchies using turquoise paint, pieces from a retro map, and bits of my leftover turquoise drink umbrella from Helga's last challeng.
I decided I wanted a fish (blue of course) to be swimming across all three inchies, so I chose a great fish image from ARTchix Studio. I put the inchies all together in a row, attached the fish, and then cut them apart again. After that I made a turquoise card, stamped on it with blue ink, attached a piece of vintage paper and then overstamped a postmark. After I attached the three fish inchies, I added some German scrap and was done.
Thanks to Helga for another fun challenge!
That's the BEST use of Inchies I have seen! Love this postcard!
