This week's theme for Sunday Postcard Art is Hats - fun!
The background has been in progress for weeks - I've been playing around with new inks and a hot glue stencil I made. Hat is from a sheet of wrapping paper I bought at a local bookstore (the whole thing is made up of these great bowler hats in different colours).Stamped phrenology head on dictionary page + dictionary definition. + doodles with various pens including the striped hat band.
Great collage!

I have that phrenology stamp and use it a lot. I have to admit, I've never considered putting a hat on it. This is not just grand, it is phenomenal.
BTW, aren't hot glue stencils fun?

Most of my collages have been digital as "glues" and I don't seem to be the best of friends (especially Krazy Glue for some reason). Your hat collage inspires me to try hands-on collages more in the Sundays to come!
