ICAD wrap up

Wow, I can’t believe it’s over already!  This definitely felt like the fastest ICAD on record.

And finally wrapping up with Day 61 and a big thank you!  That thank you is to Tammy at Daisy Yellow Art  for this fun challenge, our group moderators in the Facebook group, and all the people who’ve looked at, commented or “liked” my work in that same group or on my Instagram page, or of course on this blog - thanks so much!

 

And here is a “group shot” of all (or most) of the cards plus some bonus warm-up cards.  Why most?  Well I think I messed up on my counting so I ended up with 62 cards in theory, but one is “missing” (temporarily I’m sure - happens pretty much every year).  So this picture shows 61 cards + 10 bonus cards.

 

Now last but not least, people do ask what I ‘do’ with my ICADs.  I put them in a book.  I like to use a book with black pages as my cards tend to be so colourful.

And I have room for about 40 more cards.  I’ll fill it up with either more index cards or some postcards.  We’ll see what I feel like.  My project this August is 31 square collages.  They aren’t going in the book - I’ll be making cards out of them for birthdays and other special occasions.  If I’m smart, maybe I’ll make some of them holiday themed!  Haha - doubtful in August.

I am SO glad you shared these on your blog because there is no way for me to see them otherwise. I loved seeing all those ICADs together like that. They become really colorful beauties.

I agree that this ICAD year seemed to fly by and I was finished just as I was getting used to making them. Once again, I am in awe. If I was forced to choose one this week, I couldn't. They are all great for very different reasons. Once again, I want to reiterate I am in total awe of your ICAD collages and art.
