This week’s theme for Sunday Postcard Art is Forest.
I started out trying an image transfer with my gelli plate. It didn’t work out quite the way I’d planned so I decided to take a different approach. Just drawing a silhouette over a map and adding a big red moon or sun from a print I made a few weeks ago.
Then I had second thoughts about the “failed” print. When I looked at it again I saw the forest - do you see it too? Or did I just imagine it because I wanted to see it? Either way, I’ve set up one of my little paper houses on the edge of the forest.
Thank you very much for joining me today! I appreciate you looking at my work. Don’t forget, you can see much more of my work on Instagram, where I post pretty much daily. https://www.instagram.com/cindymcmath/

Yes, I saw the forest in the second print. It was lovely. Of course, I like the moon over the other forest, too. They are both beautiful and both so different from each other.

They are both fabulous, I think I like the "failed" one the best, it is more random like nature...great job.
