Sunday Postcard Art - Complementary Colours

I’m delighted to be hosting  Sunday Postcard Art  this week, and my theme is Complementary Colours.

Complementary colours are opposite each other on the colour wheel.  This is a simple colour wheel - they make them in many different gradations.  I don’t want you to stress over whether your colours are exactly complementary!  Just have fun.  

I made two cards with two different sets of complementary colours.  The first one features orange-red and blue-green.  

The second features green-gold and pink.

I like the way the black and white images play against the colours - you might think black and white would be complimentary colours but they do not appear on the colour wheel at all.
