Here are a few of the highlights from 2022. The first is my “top nine” from Instagram - these were most liked by my followers.

No surprise to see my ICAD combos in there as well as a few pieces from various online challenges I’ve participated in such as Februllage, and the Paris Collage Collective weekly challenge.
And then here are a few of my favourites from the year. I’m always a little disappointed that my paintings don’t get as much attention as my collages, but that seems to be the way it goes.
This piece is called Shout, and it was displayed in the Federation Gallery in Vancouver for the month of December.

This piece “on the rocks” will be submitted for a show at some point. It’s on paper.

The next piece is called Good News Travels Fast 2 (because I did a similar, larger, painting earlier this year).

And this one is also on paper - I don’t think I’ve named it yet…

This piece, called Key to the City, is on display at a local gallery until mid January.

This is a reworked painting that I cut up and made smaller pieces from - this was my favourite of this series.

And this one, The Idea Machine, was also shown in Vancouver. It was my favourite of six displayed. One sold, but not this one. I’m actually kind of happy I’ll be getting it back. Don’t tell anyone!

And this one “Away we Go” is a collage of gelli prints that was also displayed in Vancouver in December.

And this one - Urbana - was a favourite mono print made on my gelli plate.

Thanks so much for joining me today - I hope you’ve enjoyed this small peek into my creative 2022.
